Yes—VV Tax House supports personal tax returns and business tax returns, so both individuals and business owners can get help with filing and planning for tax season.

The Client Portal is your secure online space to manage your tax process—typically used to upload documents, communicate, and track progress. You can access it here:
https://vvtaxhouseinc.taxdome.com/app

It depends on your situation, but most clients should gather:

  •  Personal info: photo ID, Social Security numbers/ITINs for you + dependents, prior-year return (if available)
  • Income forms: W-2s, 1099s (NEC/MISC/INT/DIV/K), unemployment, retirement/pension, Social Security, any other income records
  • Business/self-employed (if applicable): income totals, expense records, mileage logs, home office info, 1099s you received, and any bookkeeping reports
  • Deductions/credits: childcare costs, education forms, mortgage interest (1098), property taxes, charitable donations, medical expenses (if applicable)

Best practice: upload what you have to the Client Portal and VV Tax House can tell you what’s missing: https://vvtaxhouseinc.taxdome.com/app

  • Personal tax preparation focuses on your individual return (typically Form 1040) and includes income, deductions, credits, dependents, and any self-employment income you personally earned.
  • Business tax preparation focuses on filing for a business entity and reporting business income/expenses properly (and often involves additional forms and compliance requirements). It’s designed to ensure your business reporting is accurate and optimized—not just “added onto” a personal return.

You should get help if you received any IRS letter/notice you don’t fully understand—especially if it includes:

  • A deadline to respond
  • A change to your refund or balance due
  • A request for verification or additional documents
  • Penalties/interest, collections language, or a proposed adjustment

The safest move is to not ignore it—send a copy of the notice to VV Tax House (via the portal or email) so they can advise you on the next step
